2026 Roadmap

I’m not dead!

Yes, despite its best efforts I escaped from 2025 in one piece. I am sorry for the lack of updates but as usual I don’t want to fill your inbox with things unless there is actually something to say. Like there is now!

The Emerald Shadow is going through it’s final edits, it will be back to me April 10th. On track for a Summer 2026 release. I know that’s not ideal given that the book has been in production for the better part of two years. But I fall back on saying that is because it’s going to be worth it. Coming in at a door-stopping, burglar busting, 170,000 words. It is the longest thing I have ever written. And I think every inch of it has been polished to a mirror shine. This books is going to make you feel things that no other book in the series (or maybe ever) has. It’s haunting, brutal, horrific, life-affirming, hopeful, and without doubt the best thing I’ve ever written.

Seeking Beta-Readers! But I can’t do it alone, so now I am putting out an open call to any and everyone who would like to serve as a beta reader for this story. You would get early access to the novel in exchange for some feedback for those who aren’t familiar. Please email me or dm me if you are interested, bear in mind it is a very long story but any help is appreciated.

Audiobook news! The Cerulean Flare is fully recorded and is now being edited. Vic has been hard at work on this and many other projects and I’m as excited to hear it as you are. This is also looking at a Summer 2026 release.

As much fun as I’ve had doing stuff like VCW and The Other Fellow, The Emerald Shadow has convinced me that Vagabond Legacy needs more of my attention if it’s going to come out regularly. This isn’t one of those indie book series that is just going to stop, I will finish Vagabond Legacy and from now on it’s my sole focus.

This is what 2026 has in store from me and I thank everyone for sticking with me.
