Book 4 is finished!

Hello everyone, sorry for my months upon months of radio silence but I’ve been battling some health problems and trying very very hard to finish The Emerald Shadow. And I can finally say that I have. The book is 100% complete and is now with Erin, my editor.
This was the hardest book in the series to write and also will likely wind up being the longest so far. It really takes our heroes (and readers) outside of their comfort zone into strange and terrifying new places.
I am expecting to have the draft back from my editor on July 31st, so our second round of editing will likely begin Mid-July early August so a 2025 release date for Shadow is still very possible, but I’m not ready to commit to that just yet.
In the meantime I am working with fellow author Alex Trevino whom you may remember from the VCW Indiegogo. His series, Sirens of Agartha is about to have its third entry and he asked me to go through the draft and edit it, for which I was very flattered. This will be my first professional editing credit and I hope you’ll all check out his book when it drops.
When I finish with Sirens, I’m planning to draft VCW 3. I already have the outline ready to go and it’s short enough that I think I’ll be able to do it over July, maybe a little longer. So it’s possible that both my books will still wind up releasing this year, wild.
Thanks for reading and as always you can find my books on Amazon and Audible. I appreciate your support!
All the best,
William Hastings
